Buffalo Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 4 Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 cup Buffalo or hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Water

Directions

  1. Marinate chicken in buffalo or hot sauce for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  3. In a bag, combine flour, half of the garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  4. On a plate, mix the breadcrumbs with the rest of the garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  5. Shake the chicken pieces with the seasoned flour.
  6. Beat eggs with 1 tbsp water, and place egg mixture in a shallow dish or bowl.
  7. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then roll in the seasoned bread crumb mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for about 8 minutes. Turn pieces over. Bake an additional 8 minutes, or until chicken juices run clear.
