Turkey Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Turkey fat (top of separated liquid)
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Turkey broth (bottom of separated liquid)
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. Pour pan drippings into a gravy separator.
  2. Combine fat and flour in a pan on medium heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in broth while continuing to stir. Cook an additional 4 minutes while stirring.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste

Notes

  1. Made from pan drippings of cooking a turkey
  2. Essentially made like a Béchamel but with turkey fat and broth
