Ingredients
- 6 Eggs
- 1-1/4 cups Sugar
- 1-1/8 cups Crisco
- 6 cups Flour
- 3 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Salt
- 6 tsp Baking Powder
Directions
- Beat eggs and sugar for five minutes.
- Melt Crisco and let stand until a little cool
- Add to egg mixture
- Add vanilla
- Add flour, salt, baking powder gradually mixing well with a fork, then mix with hands until it forms a smooth ball
- Cover and let stand for 20 minutes
- Cut to desired size
- Grease cookie sheets once only with Crisco
- Bake until light brown
- Glaze with confectioner's sugar and lemon juice

- Recipe doesn't include a temperature to set oven
