Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1-1/2 cups Milk
  • 4 Potatoes (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Melt butter
  3. Add 1 and ½ cups milk
  4. Cook and stir over low heat until thickened
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  6. Put in a buttered baking dish
  7. Add potatoes and onion
  8. Pour sauce over top
  9. Bake at 350 degrees until tender—approximately 1 and ¼ hours
